I have Just received an order from New York from the Waldorf Astoria for twenty five dressed turkeys, and I will ap preciate it if you will publish (his let ter, because I want to get these tur keys right away. I would also be glad to have any parties who have any chickens, turkeys or country produce for sale to write me just what they have that I might try and put them in touch with the buyer. The fact is I will be glad to help them dispose of anything they have for sale in the way of produce. Of course they understand that there is no cost to the service. Miss ILuy Oxner Dend. liss Lucy Oxner died Monday at half past eleven o'clock at the hone of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. .1. A. Oxner on New Market street. She had been il for sonme tline with Ileu inonia. Miss Oxner was :32 years old. She had beenit a resident of Greenwood for a number of years and as an operator on the Greenwood Telephone Ex change had made a nuinber of friends to whom the news of her death will he a source of deep grief. Miss Oxner was born Sept. 21, 1884 in Laurens county. She was a mem her of the Methodist church. She Is survived by her parents and by one sister, Mrs. lien IlollingswortIi. The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon and the buir al had in the Methodist cemetery on Cambridge street. Rtev. L,. P.
