Bo$yd, who died at an ad vanced age at his home in this city last Wednesday morning, was buried in the Laurens cemetery Thursday af ternoon. The services were conducted at the house by Rev. Robert Adams, in the absence of the deceased's pastor, Rev. C. F. Rankin. The following gen tlemen acted as pall bearers: J, C. Owings, Pr. W. D. Ferguson, J. F. Burton, S. R. Dorroh, G. Dudley Young, J. J. Adams, Dr. H. K. Aiken, C. W. Tune, Col. Ii. Y. Simpson, P. A. Simpson, W. R. McCuen, E. It. Wilkes, L. B. Blackwell, R. F. Fleming, A. C. Todd and J. W. Todd. Although the weather was very disagreeable, a large number attended the services and many beautiful ilowetrs were placed upon the grave.
