Watts Mill, Nov. 20.--Mr. Dudley
Orlilin, a well known young man, died
at the home of Mr. Walter Griffin on
Sunday, Nov. 12th, and was buried at

Mr. W. 1,. Jennings is still real sick
at this writing.
The little son of .\mr. and Mrs. Mace
Motes is very sick with pneumonia.
The protracted meeting is being con
tinued at Lucas Avenue Blaptist. church

here and are being placed in order by
a representative of the company from

torium likewise is being stained---the
icolor being forest green. This audi
torium will soon be up-to-date, and
will compare favorably with any in
the county. The seating capacity Is
flve hundred.
The ladies of the improvement as
sociation arc planning a harvest jubi
.lee party and a bazaar to be held
Wednesday, Nov. 29th. Each child and
ipatron of the community Is asked to
join in this occasion of thanksgiving
by giving something to the school.
Oysters will be served later in the day.
Basket balls have been ordered for
the boys and girls of the high school
department.
A liter'Iry society was re- organized
last Friday. Allen Barksdale is pres
ident and Raymond Cook, secretary.
The subject for debate at the next
meeting is: Resolved, That school
should be held on Saturday instead of
Monday.

Messrs. Albert Dial, Ernest Easter
by and Douglas Gray have formed a
partnership to manufacture crates for
bottled Soda wate, ginger'ale, etc. They
have rented space in one of the Gray
buildings on the C. & W. r. railroad
and h.ave Installed modern machinery
for crate manufacturing. The output
at first willbe on a limited scale, but
as the business develops and the pro
circle and it was in this he doubtless
,era expect to build up a largo business.
