Cross 11111, Nov. 20.---A marriage of
som1e interest was celebrated last
Thursday evening, 1611h inst., when
Miss .essic Mae IIryson became the
bride of Mr. Frank Workman. The
ceremony was performed by Rev. \V.
). Ratchford at the home of the bride's
father, Mr. Cal Bryson near Mount
ville. The matrimonial attendants
were 'ir. Floyd 'pearman with Miss
Sara Workman, Mr. George Bryson
with Miss Corrine Workman. Miss
aitemle T urner played the wedding
march. The happy couple have the
best wishes of many friends.
The ladies of the Daughters of the
[Confederaey will give an oyster sip
per Wednesday evening, 22nd inst., at
Spearman's hall. A splendid and
abundant meal will be served and the
pubik are invited to attend and give
their aid to a good cause.

left arm last Thursday while trying to
Cut a string from a broom, the doctor
having to take four stitches, but we
are glad to say he Is getting along
unieely now.
Wilnon Baldwin, while trying to
shoot a gun Monday burned his eyes
with shot which is giving him some
trouble now.
