people attended the floral show at Ow
ings Feriday. This show Is held an

hers of the Floral Society, and always

The flowers on exhibition as well as

We are glad to state that Mr. and
.\lrs. W\. G. l'utnam are now occupying
their new residence.
.\ir. W. E0. Alartin is now having luim
ber sawed to erect several buildings
on his farm. 'There have already been
some of the lumber laid down and
work will begin Nov. 13th.
Alr. Charlie Bagwell of Pickens is
now occupying the Mlartin residence.
It is reported that Mr. Bagwell will
take charge of the farm another year.
\i r. Britton has bought the Peden
Martin place. Mr. Britton is now lo
cated in Clinton but will move to his
old home place near here for another
year.
Mr. George Pulley of Sandy Springs
section has recently purchased the
George Little farm. We will be glad
to have AIr. and AIrs. Pulley located in
our coimni11ty.
Mr, N. D. Garrett and son, Ezell,
were in Laurens Saturday on business.
Our school is under the management
of MIss Annie Puttam this session.
