The bereaved family have the deepest sympathy of their friends. * * * 1'rlnceton and Her Social * * Organizations. * * * Princeton is located in the north western part of Laurens county, Sulli van Township. In former times it was known as Triangle but dreams of a city and a railroad cut caused its name to be changed to Princeton. We think the older settlers made a mis take by tarting it on the Williamson plan and wc have made the same mis take by keeping up the process. Despite her smallness, she has al ways boasted of a school and church. both of which are kept in a flourish ing condition. Many noble men and women have gone out from here to fl1 si )stions of honor and trust, while others of the nobility have stayed in the community and are engaged in farming, merchandicing and other pur suits of happiness. All are deeply lii t'irested in the affairs of state and oem munity. W have no chamber of com nierce or other trade organization, but we can boast. of a brotherhood that means much to the coin mmunity at large. This organization may be call el "The Sons of lHest", "White Pine Club," or "The lIun.iness Committee". Alectings are held each day throughout tile week in the witer season, and on wet days and Saturday evenings throughout the summer. At each meeting fires are spit out, boxes carv ed to Ipcees, Europe's battles are fought and won, armies are rushed in to Mexico, important laws are enact ed, Presidents nominated, elections held, votes tabulated. and each candi (late declared elected or in the second race. If some brother is unable to at tend one of our regular meetings, we always take an interest in attending to any little business that lie might chance to have.
