Miss Frances Kennedy is in Green ville attending commencement exer cises at G. W. C. Mr. T. Lane Monroe, of Wilkes & Co., is confined to his home on ac count of sickness. S. Bagwell Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock, when her daughter, Mis Brucle Bagwell became the wife of Mr. Thos. C. Bolt. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. R. T. Major, pas tor of the First Methodist church. On ly a few intnmnate friends and rola tives were present. The bride is a very attractive young lady and great ly admired in a wide circle of friends. The hall and parlor were dec orated with potted plants and daisies, the color scheme of yellow and white being carried out. The guests, upon arrival, were met at the door by :Miss Onivia Riddell and ushered into the parlor. After a few moments spent in pleasant conversa tion tho guests wore given a list of qiuestions, each cicustion to be an swered with the name of a familiar song. This afforded much pleasure for quite a whilo. The two prizes were won by Misses Emma Shell and Onivia Riddell. Before departing the young hostess served delicious cream and cake, the color scheme being evident in the re freshments. Upon leoving, little sou venirs were pinned upon each guest. Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gilkorson, Mr. Yancy Gilkorson was host at an ele gant stag supper in honor of Mr.. JD. O. Anderson, who is to be married to Miss Rosalie Franks on Juno 14th. The supper was served in five courses and was a sumptuous affair.
