C. Scruggs went home to be with God. She had been in ill health for about four years. Hler brief life' of 75 years was spent in loving ministration to her loved ones and trying to serve her heavenly Father, by her many good traits of character she endeared herself to a large circle of friends. She leaves one sister and three brothers to mourn her loss and may our Father who knoweth aft our griefs comfort their sorrowing hearts. Rev. 11. L. Iaggott of Gray Court conducted the services. Her body was laid to rest in the Warrior 'dreek cem etery of which church she was a inem ber to wait the resurrection morn. Several of our community are sick, but we hope they will soon be well again. Mrs. Minnie IHolcombe and daugh ter Miss Viola of Easley, spent the week-end with relatives.
