On ie diy before 'Thanksgiving we had a mother's meeting and some of us children recited speeches. After the entertainment we children went home and the mothers had a party. They had cake and lemonade. About a month ago a woman named Miss Van Huron came and talked to us about how to make the country beau tiful. We had a night school this year for about twenty nights. About ninety eight people came to it. Some of them were people who had never learned to read and write. [)uring this time the people learned to read, write and work some arithmetic. They were sorry when the twenty nights were overl. 'T'here are 230 children in school and 18 have had perfect attendance Vo far this year. See Mirs. Florence Simpson, our milliner, for your new spring hat. Our hats are just beautiful this season, ard the prices are reasonable. J. C. Burns & Co. Sandy Springs Siehool.
