ence in a community. Church people
are, for as a rule the most able men

members.
But, the church, as an institution,
holds as much of evil as good, and
all the world knows it. Therefore, the
man whose heart is set on evil-the
very man the church should reach out
and claim-puts his fingers to his nose
and tells you about the sins of Deacon
Doe.

blaspieme, beat their debts, hate their

Mr. Warren Walker and two friends
went hunting one day last week and
killed one bird. They said if they
had had another box of shells apiece
they believed they would have got two.
Some one went into the seed house

week and took about a ton of cotton
seed. We don't know whether they
have been able to find the perpetrator
Dr not, but hope he or they will be
aight and punished. We have heard
of others in this community losing
,otton seed, but not by the wholesale.
