I s lave stated all the time that Laurens g ,ounty should have 'been exempted I rom the provisions of this law. Up to v his time, I have not had access to the t 3enate Journal of the 1915 session. A I 'ew days ago, however. I received >rinted copy of the Journal of the Sen ite and I find at page 832 an Amend Ilent was adopted exempting Laurens .ounty from the provisions of this bill. 'he bilt went to free conference and y reference to page 933 of the Sen ite Journal, (hlouse Journal 10,19) it vill be found that the amendments / vere agreed to in free conference, and he bill ordered enrolled for ratifica ion.
