.BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAU
RIENB, IN COUNCIL ASSEMBLED:
Section 1. That no person, firth or
corporation shall, after the first day
of January, 1915. engage in, prosecute
or carry on any business or profes
sion hereafter named, within the cor
porate limits of the City of Laurens,
-without having first paid a special
license tax therefor. The amount of
said special license tax 'shall be the'
amount placed opposite each occupa
tion, business or profession herein be
low named, respectively, and the
amount shall be the cost of said spe
cial tax per annum, unless otherwise
specife(l, to wit:
