HOME COMING AT CLEMSON COLLEGE A Thousand Students Expeetedl to At tend Uathering of Former (lemson Students. Clemson College, July 20.-Approx Imately one thousand former students and graduates of Clemson College havo already replied to their invi tations. signifying their intention of being present for "Home (;omaing 'Week" the big reunion occasion which will tlike place at Cleo3on Coilege from noon of August 27th, to 'noon of August 31st. It is planned to make this one of the greatest affairs of the kind ever held by any Southern col lege. The acceptances already re ceived make it certain that the ca pakity of Clemson's large barracks will be taxed to accommod.ate those who conic. President W. M. Riggs is doing ev erything possible to have invitations reach every one of t.- six thousand men who have attended Clemson. Many invitations, however, have been returned incilaimned alnd it is desired that any former Clemson men who have not yet received invitations write to the president. It is the college's purpose to make "IIonme Coming Week" a nemorable event in the lives of all wly \ittend and it is desired that all old 'Cleisonites receive no Lice of the occasion. The attendar 3e will have to be lim ited to tormer students only, because of limited facilities. It will he impos sible to take care or even the wives of those who are "coming back". The accommodations will be sullcient ror only the alimni and ex-stiudents them selves, so large will the number of these be. A most enjoyable program is be ing arranged for the five days of "Homo Coming Week." The details of this will be announced later. Fspec tally attractive features will be pre pared for Friday, Saturday an&-.1i day, the 28th, 29th and 30th, respect tively.
