Leaders tonight, however, were unwilling to predlict the day when a vote can11 be taken. Even wtih a night session tonight there was no certainty of a vote on the first proposition to be disposed of, the 5ocailled Simmons-Norris am:ind ment qualifying terms of the bill. Senator lorah, an anti-repeal Iead 'r, predicted that this amendmen: alone would be debated four or live hours. Action, however, within the next day or two is expected.
