A gift of a $10,000 house for aged
ministers was received from C. C.
Brown, the house being located in
Deaufort, overlooking the sea. It Is
expected that ministers temporarily
resting will also make their home
there.
The Baptist convention employs
nearly 150 missionaries, men ans
woien, in South Carolina; there are
more than 1,000 churches, and about
900 preachers.
The convention next year will meet
in 'Charleston.
