the Secretary at Laurens. S. C.
Sec. Visitors will And on the
grounds, everything nooessary for
their comfort and convenience. Res
taurants and lunch stands will supply
meals and refreshments at all hours
during the day.
Sec. I. No admission fee will be
charged to enter fair grounds.

by appropriate badges.
Sec. 6. It is desired that all entries
be made on or before Thursday. Oc

Sec. T. Entries should he made on
the regular blanks provided for that
purpose, which will be furnished by
the Secretary upon application.
Sec. s. The exhibition of articles
not enumerated in the regular sched
ule of premiums is invited and they
will be assigned to the proper depart
ments and displayed to visitors.
Sc?-. 0. Exhibitors of live stock
must report to the Superintendents
in the morning at ? o'clock for Infor
mation. Stock must he in the show
ring promptly after being called. Any
exhibitor failing to comply with this
rule will be debarred.

Section I. Expert judges will be
employed in the Horse, Cattle, Sheep,
Swine and Poultry Departments.
Sec. ?_*. Judges will apply to th i
Superintendent of the department for
Information concerning the articles on
which tiny are going to pass, and for
all needful conveniences for making
their reports.
Sec. 3. No appeals are provded for.
.Indues will therefore see the neces
sity for making their awards, in the
first instance, with the greatest pos
sible care and justice.
Sec. i. Reports of awards must be
signed by each judge in bis own hand
writing'and handed to the Secretary.
Reports must he made promptly to en
able the Secretory to enter same on

ment.
Sec. :>. in case a superintendent of
a department is an exhibitor in that
department the judge or judges Bhnll
ho appointed by the standing commit
tee on Organization and Worn.
Sec*, i'.. Awards will be designated
by the tying of ribbons as follows:
First premium, a blue ribbon; sec
ond premium, a red ribbon; third pre
mium, a white ribbon.
Duties of Superintendents.
The Gonoral Superintendent (as aid
of (ho President) will hove control ot
the grounds and may remove all per
sons violating any of the regulations
of the Fair, or disturbing its good
order and decorum. lie shall have
pow er to order and enforce any change
in any deportment, and to order a
change oi* arrangement of exhibits in
any department.
Losses.
While every precaution will be tak
en for the safe-keeping of all arti
cles by an ellieient corps of police
ami watchmen, the society will in no
case he responsible for any loss or
damage that may occur.
Live Stock.
Every animal coming on the
grounds doos so at owner's risk, and
the owners are ( barged with the care
of all animals while on the grounds
and must not permit any to run loose.
Each animal must be reasonably tract
able or it will not hi1 permitted to stay
on the grounds. All horses, colts and
cattle must he thoroughly halter
broke, that they may he safely man
aged at all times.
