Willis expects to return Thursday from Hot Springs, Ark. Ac cording to letters received from him he is much Improved in health. Mr. A. Miss Donle Counts and Miss Josle Sullivan have returned from Alber marle, N. C, where they have been teaching school the past session. Miss Daisy Eichelberger, has re signed the position which she has held In Columbia for some time and has accepted a position as stenograph er in the ofllce of Richey & Richey. Mr. R. Fleming Jones and little Miss Laura Vance, Mrs. W. D. Ferguson and Miss Janet Macfarlane left yes terday In Mr. Jones* automobile for Sumter where they will visit relatives for some time.
