Pleasant church on last Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we had some very interesting talks on the different subjects which were selected for discussion. On Sunday morning at 10 o'clock we had as in teresting address on Christian Educa tion and its Mission as It was ever our pleasure to listen to by the Rev. Ellis A. Fuller of Mountvllle and judging from his address he certainly has a bright future before him. At 11 o'clock we had a very able missionary sermon by Rev. B. P. Mitchell of Laurens. af ter which meeting adjourned until the fifth Saturday in September, to meet with the Mountville Baptist church. Mrs. J. A. Martin of Cross Hill and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Fuller of Mount ville were among our many visitors, to attend our Union services. Mr. and Mrs. J. K. McPherson was the guest of the former's sister, Mrs. N. P. Hellams, of the Friendship sec tion, from Friday until Sunday. Mrs. Q. W. L, Tcague and niece, Miss Ruth Hill were business visitors in Laurens Monday. Misses Sue, Annie Lou and Lydia McPherson, dined with their little cousins Louise and Jessie Saxon, last Sunday. Mrs. Win.
