ThlB Is the tenth week we have
published the "Suggestive Questions
on the Sunday School Lessons," and
we have heard nothing but commen
dation, both for the questions them
selves, and for the enterprise of the
Advertiser In establishing in Laurens
a Local Club of the International
Press Bible Question Club. Two re
sults, among many others, may be
mentioned?first, a great many are
taking up the home study of the Sun
day School Lessons, and second, the
attendance at Bible Classes, has in
creased. This last-mentioned result
can, however, he quadrupled If Hible
Class teachers and icliolars will
hustle for new members, making the
I. P. 15. Q. C, its easy course of study,
and its valuable prizes the rallying
cry. There is no reason why
Laurens cannot carry the banner in
this contest, and win some of the Cold
Medals. There will be a beautifully
engraved Diploma, printed in three
colors, presented to every member of
our Local Club who completes the
course of study, whether winning any
other prize of not. Tills Diploma will
certify that the holder has completed
a course of study in Biblical litera
ture.

Mr. A. C. Anderson died at Ware
Shoals, S. C, on Oct 25th., after an
illness with typhoid fever. He was
48 years old, and was the son of Hon.
I). Wade Anderson, deceased, of Wa
terloo, S. C. The two years he stayed
at Ware Shoals, by his honest integ
rity, and orderly walk, he won many
friends?and "surely he will be miss
ed" In our midst. A few months ago,
he united with the Methodist church,
and since that time he has lived a
consecrated Christian life, and was
found so faithful in the discharge of
his duties both in his work and In
his church. Four Bisters survive him
Also one brother; Mrs. G. M. Boyd,
Mrs. Mary Robertson, Mrs. .1. C.
Poore, Mrs. T. L. Bhamblett, and W.
B. Anderson. We extend to the be
reaved family our heartfelt sympathy.
