MANAGEMENT CHANGES. Mr. v. Cunteronl Will Take Charge of the Opern House. Mr. V. Cameronl, high wire artist and athlete, lias taken over the man agement of the opera houso and will hereafter he in charge. He Intends running a moving picture show every night except when other attractions are hooked. lie has seen considerable experience in the show world, having given numbers of exhibitions in many of the larger cities of the North and at the Jamestown IDxposition. Mr. Cameronl is a native of Glas gow, Scotland, and has traveled all over the world. He came here to fill an engagement Monday night and when offered the management of the opera house ncepted It, Ho promises llrst class pictures, and, when well established, vaudeville attractions. As evidently the young coin growers had misunderstood the COSts to be taken into consideration in the tabulation of the expense, the judges felt that justice would not be done if they made the awards. Con sequently the prizes In these contests were not awarded. At H would require a great deal of work on the part of the judges and contestants and would cause a deal of confusion to find the winners in this contest these awards will not be made. Following the awarding of prizes the Corn fair came to an end. The fair was a great success in ev ery particular and ttie fine showing made is due to the untiring efforts put forth by Superintendent of Educa tion Ceorge L. Pitts. He has worked incessantly during the entire year In the effort to have a creditable exhibit ami to get the people enthused over modern methods of agriculture. It is Iiis intention to go still further and carry the exhibits to the Corn Ex position in Columbia in December, where he expects to carry off several prizes for the Laurens county boys So successful was this first corn ex hibit that numbers of prominent men in the county have already commenced to talk of a big county fair next fall. Laurens county is in a position to have one of the best fairs in the State and these men are determined that a big agricultural and stock exhibit shall be held next year. Leap's Prolific Wheat.
