The second annual session of the South Carolina Conference of Chari ties and Correction will he held at Florence, S. C. Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8-9 next. It is earnestly de. sired that all persons interested in work of charity, correction, reform, child care and other related problems will plan to attend the conference The sessions will all be open to the public, and all may attend who will. The conference exists to discuss the problems of charity and correction, to disseminate information and promote reforms. It will be held in the Flor ence City auditorium, upon invitation extended the body a year ago. The headquarters ,?f the executive committee will be at tho Motel Flor ? nee. and provision lias also boon made at this hotel For any committee tin tings that may be held during the sessions of the conference. Persons who wish hoarding house accomoda tions should write Mr. M. 11. Ayer. Florence, The executive committee lias united in an endeavor t<> provide a program that would be practical, and has sought to present topics that concern out people at the present time. It is hoped that physicians, clergy men legislators, charity workers, county supervisors, probate judges, students and teachers of social ques tions, child saving workers, ofllcers of penal and correctional institutions.
