SC4 and 1209, re spectively, of Reports and Resolutions 1?0G. 1907, and 1908, for the years end ing December 31, 1905, 1900 and 1907. I find that in these totals the Comp troller General did not Include the receipts for the first quarter in each year. Therefore, the figures given by me. unwittingly, wire for nine months of each year, only. The cor-j root figures are as follows! HI05.$37,082.63 I 1900.11.4 ?7.75 1907 . 42,129.99 The amount ($4S,707.30) reported by me for 1908, since the establishment of the Insurance department, ?.is also for nine months only. The total for the year 190S was $55.750.21. the dif ference, about $7,000 having been re ceived by the Comptroller General de i the three months previous to the establishment of the insurance department. The receipts from January i. 1909 to December 31, 1909 were $84.813.59.
