Griftin, teachers, left last Wednesday foi their homes in Newherry and Miss Des Tortes left Saturday Tor Ridgeway, her home. We sure do have some blows! We have good stands of corn and cotton and they have been well worked to date. The rains have heen frequent and light, and the grass crop has .been easily kept down Wheat and oats were wonderfully im proved by the light showers, and are turning out a very good crop.
