sorry for Mr. Moore in his bereave

MUSOROVE MILL.

Not long since a student of Clinton
college gave us nn interesting descrip
tion of a visit to tho historic Must rove
home. For the sake of Laurens comi
ty history i wish to correct some er
rors made by this correspondent, lie
stated that the old Musgrovo dwelling
was still standing. The present house
was built by Dr. Ned Bubo, and my
Information states that "Aunt" Betsy
Bobo raised hint from Infancy, in

exist in the Imagination of the writer.
The old Revolutionary dwelling of
Allen Musgrove stood one hundred
and llfty yards from the present house

This old house was on the west side
of Enoree river in I.aureus county;
the old mill was also in Laurens.
This .Musgrove property was willed
to Dr. Neil Bobo by William Musgrove
who was a son of Allen Musgrove. and
Betsy Musgrove married Dr. Bobo.
