ument in Columbia to the women of
the Confederacy: she should not stop
with less than that amount, and if
possible ought to ?n beyond it. The
State of South Carolina has respond
ed heartily to a call from Laurents,
and it will ill become the honor of
the county to fail to respond to this
call from the State.
