Powler of Clinton spent n few days
last week with bis congregation here,
preaching at the Baptist church Fri
day evening. Mr. Fowler is held In
high esteem by his people here, be
cause of his consecrated Christian
life, his earnest and able advocacy of
righteousness, his hold and fearless
opposition to error and evil in all
their forms, and his unwavering de
votion to truth as revealed in the
Word. His visits here are always a
pleasure to his people.

mercantile business and is always de
lighted to accommodate his friends
in the field of trade.
Mr. Eugene Crisp, operator at Ab
beville, came over Saturday and spent
a while with his home people. Ku
gelte is a quiet, modest young man,
stout and the picture of health.
Miss Mary Martin. one of the
teachers in the Mouiltvillo school,
?paid a recent visit to friends at Uflff
ney. spending the Thanksgiving holi
days with former college friends and
mates.
Mr. .lohn I.. Anderson, recently a
salesman with J. M. Simmons, hat

There will be some changes among
our renting farmers this season. Mr.
