joint hoard of finance. The not
amount which has passed through his
hands reaches $07.2:13.(12. The board
recommends the assessment of $13,2;"?0
for Conference claimants for the en
suing year and that 10 per cent, of
the amount collected be devoted to the
endowment fund for superannuated
preachers. They also recommend the
appointment of Rev. Marion Dargain
as Held agnl of said fund. Mr Dar
gnu's Held will be the entire M. K
Church, South.
Rov. V. C Dibble of Charleston pre
sented the report of the committee oil

A request was pl'CSOUtcd to the
Itishop that he should make a ruling
in respect to the claims of Florence
district upon the Marion district par
soungo. The Bishop ruled that the
hoard of reference he required by the
discipline should he provided and the
question put before such hoard of ret
