Mr. Du Lose, in behalf of the M. E. Church; Mrs. R. L. Gray for the local Missionary Society, and Miss May Putnam for the Baptist Church. Miss Ellic FoW, the District Secretary extended a very appropriate response. Mrs. Wightmnn, Mrs. Humbert, and Mrs. Herbert, the vcran workers, were present, and presided in their inimitable manner. The reports from the seventeen socie ties showed an increase in missionary year, and gave a hopeful outlook for future work. A strong missionary sermon was <1? - livered by R6V. .Mr. W. II. Hi dgos, of the First M R, Church of Clinton. Fri day night. Sunday service; were conducted by Rev. Mr. W. M. Dune.in. Presiding El dor of Greenville District. A liberal offering to further the cause of missions was collected. The delegates were charmed by the hospitality shown by t he people of Gray Court. The qualifications for suffrage are as follows: Residence in State for two years, in the County one year, in the polling procinl in which the elector Offers to vote, four months, and the payment six months be fore any election of any poll tax then duo and payable. Provided, That min isters in charge of an organized church and teachers ol public schools shall be entitled to vote after six months' resi dence in the Stale, otherwise qualified. RkoIstkation.
