State of last Sunday, is the following

Several days ago Mr. L. (I. Halle,
Sr., dictator of the Knights of Honor
lodge in Laurens, received a eck for

two years ago. His daughter, Mrs. C.
J. Lancaster, left this county thirty
seven years ago, and has inn er been
back since.

twenty-three years ago. While visiting
T. Y. Henderson ho said that crops arc

he has traveled; also that when he
went West he thought every one here
would perish, but on returning found
