Cotton Fire at Cross .'Ml.
Twenty one ba'es of cottorf were
burned on the depot platform at Cross
Hill last Tuesday night about "
?o'clock. The cotton Is supposed to have
been set on fire by sharks from a loco
motive. It Is understood that J. W.
Simmons, cotton dealer, held a b.ll of
Piling for the cotton burned.
