All male citizens, between the ages of
twenty-one and fifty years, on the 1st
day of January, 1894, except those who
are incapable of earning a support from
being muinod or from other causes, are
deemed taxable polls.
Ami evory tax-payer is required to
give the Number of their School Dis
trict.
After the 20th day of Fchiirary next
fifty per cent pcnality will be attached
(or failures to make returns.
In eyery community there are persons
who cannot read, or that do not take a
newspaper. Those more fortunate may
do such persons a great favor bv telling
them of tho time to make returns, or by
returning for them.

ber but work on tho books and the
blanks.
Wo hope, therefore, that all taxpayers
will make their returns in timo.
