It was perhaps tito most disastrous freshot ever known in Hus section. Railroads, trestles and bridges have been swept away, ami tint damage! to fanners is beyond estimation. All pas senger and freight trains ceased opera tions, except tlie old reliable Laurens road, ami an no communication was malle at Newdierry, this was of little servleo. For four days tho town of Laurens was completely cut off from tho outside world, without mail or t?lo graphie communication. The railroads have acted promptly in repairing the damage temporarily, and soon trains will run regularly on schodulctime. Personal. Mrs. A. W. These bridges will all havo to be rebuilt, and it takes money to do such work. The entertainment which should have como off on thc 21st has boen postponed until Friday evening, Hie 28tb inst.
