State exchanges, it seems that a>i
Agricultural Convention will soon
beheld. Tin; exact object of this
convention is perhaps not known,
but we can see no harm lu thc
farmers organizing an agricultural
association, lt seems n move in
thc right direction. Similar or
ganisations in other .States have
been successfully managed and
proved to bo beneficial to farmers.
Several years ago the order of
Orangers was very popular, and
secured hundreds of thousands ol'
member.-', but this organization hos ,
well-nigh died out, simply because i
lt undertook to do more than ii
could reasonably hopctoaccomplish
