Cotton picking seems to be the order
of the dav. Th.dion crop will not
equal thc sanguine estimate-, of a month
oi- two ugo. It is estimated now that
six million hales is all that can bc count

reason why thc price should not advance.
The corn crop is a good ono. It is
now safe from all harm, lt is estimated
that the corn crop is two hundred mil
lions of bushels in excess of any pre
vious crop. We think, with a good
cotton crop, the farmers can gel along
very wt ll.
