Lancaster Clubs Meet.
Special to the State.
Lancaster, March 12.?On
March 2nd the Cranford Hook
club was delightfully entertained
by Miss Una Payseur. The
literary feature consisted of
quotations from humorous
writers, current events by Mrs,
J. T. Thomasson, American
humorists by the club. Refreshments
were served at the
close of the literary programme.
The Ladies' Card club met
Thursday afternoon with Mrs,
Robt. 1j. Crawford. Progressive
whist was played, the prize
being won by Miss Edith Stew
art a lovely weduewood base.
The refreshments were delightful,
score cards dainty,
pansies being the design. Those
