to The State.
Riehburg, April 8.?Capt. O.
A. Wylio, a prominent citizen of
our town, died. very suddenly this
morning frorll a stroke of paralysis.
He was a gallant Confederate
soldier and served through
out the war. exhibiting the kind
of courage that men admire.
Since the war ho has engaged
extensively nnd successfully in
farming and dairying,
x lie represented this county in
the legislature for two years
about 188fl.
Capt. Wylie was a lifelong
Presbyterian and one of the
founders of the church at this
place, and by his consistent life
impressed all with whom he came
in contact. A modest, 'unassum
ing Christian gentleman has gone
to his reward.
