but Mr. J. Davis Caskey actually
found a two horse Nissen wagon
in the creek bottoms on Mr W.Q.
Oaskey's plantation. It contained
20 pounds ot bacon, and how
it got there or whose it was, is a
mystery. The owner can gel
the property by proving same

ago he and another minister held
a meeting in Anson county near
Simpson's distillery, their avowed
purpose being to have God close

and prayed that it might be destroyed,
and finally, it is said.

sure enough, last week some fellow
