of the South Carolina
and Georgia Extension railway
will have a meeting at Blacksburg
on thatrausfer of the property
to the Southern Railway
company. This road has been
well managed under the superintendency
of Col. A. Tripp, who
has been eminently successful in
overcoming many difficulties.
The patrons of the line at this
place, as well as others heard
from, are looking eagerly for the
change, feeling that with the
strong backing of the Southern
the facilities of the road will be
much improved.
