bill will be taken
by the Senate at 4 o'clock Friday
under the terms of an
agreement reached late today.
The feature of the debate was
the denunciation of the practice
of hazing at the Wo.-t Point
Military Academy, Senator
Allen, of Nebraska; Senator
Money, of Mississipp, and
Senator McCuniber declared it
to be an evidence of brutality
and cowardice.
Senator Gallinger reported
the pension appropriation bill
and it went to the Calendar.
The House bill to divide the
State of West Virginia into two
judicial districts was passed,
Consideration of the army
reorganization bill then was resumed
Senator Teller moved
to strike out that paragraph of
the bill which empowered the
President to place on the retired
list any officer who has been
suspended from duty by son
