A Former Citizen of thin County
Die* in Texan
A letter to Mr. R. S. Harper
of this place brings the sad intelligence
of the sudden death
of Mr. J. D. Kirk, on the 19th
instant , a former citizen of this
county, but who went to Texas
about 21 years ago, settling in
Titus county where ho died. Ho
retired at night in usual health,
and in the night the family
heard him fall out of the bed
upon the Hoor, and upon inves|tigation
they found him dead.
He was a brother of Mr. R. M.
Kirk of the Primus section and
of Mesdamos J. H. Harper, J.
Thos. Marshall, J. M. Hagins,
John a Marshall and A.M. Gaston.
He left a wife and several
children*

Cards were received yesterday
announcing the marriage on Wednesday

Chapped Heath and Miss Elizabeth
Bond Tennent. The oeremony
will be performed at Trinity

Tennent is the youngest daughter
of Mrs. William Tennont, and
is a young woman of many graces.
