Me I two fa Mr. Samuel A Mcllwain ilied 'at his home, four miles south oi town, Tuesday night at about 9 o'clock of a bilious attack He had boon sick only since I Friday night last. Thursday | ho was in Lancaster enjoying 'his usual good health, and on i Friday In- was at Heath Springs I on business. Mr. Mcllwain was born in this county, where he lived all his life. He was 47 years of age. He married Miss Twitty, the only daughter ol Mr. W. B. Twitty, and she, with tliree children, survives him. The remains wore interred yesterday at Douglass church, of which he was n member, after funeral services by his pastor, Rev.
