The names are taken from the
tax hooks at the beginning; of the

Commissioners and put into the
jury box on folded slips of paper
and locked up and a key is given
to each of the jury commissioners,
who are the Clerk of the Court,
Auditor and Treasurer, no two of
which keys will unlock the box?
all must be used or the box can
not be opened. Ten days before
the jury is drawn a notice signed
by the jury commissioners is posted
on the courthouse door stating
that the jury will be d-awn
on such and such a day,at 11
o'clock, and that any one who
wishes may he present to witness
it. On that day the commission
ers, together with the sheriff,
assemble in the clerk's office,
where the box is kept, the three
keys are produced and the box,
after being well shaken, is opened.
The Auditor, with his back to the
box, stirs up the names again and
draws out one and hands it to
the treasurer, who opens the slip
mid reads the name and passes it
to the sheriff, who dates it and
