The excellence of the agricul n

is thai the government of the

The monthly cotton report is- !
sued by the United States l)e .
partment of Agriculture, on Sep- 1
tember 10th, gives the average <
condition of the cotton crop, on '
September 1, to be 68.2 a? compared
with 76, on Augrs* 1, and ,
68.5 on September 1,1899. Texas 1
was the only State which com i
pared favorably with an average 1
crop, and on the day the report
was published comes the account 1
of the terrible storms along the 1
Texas coast and extending into
the interior. It is too early yet
to estimate the damage to the
cotton crop from these storms, 1
but the feeling in New York
especially was that the damage
was enormous, many authorities ,
estimating the loss as high as
a half million bales. This has
caused a decided advance in the
s j
price of cotton, and taken with 1
the government report makes
certain that cotton will sell higher
than it has done for many |
years. j
Comes from Dr. D. B. Cargile j
of Washita, I. T. lie writes:
"Four bottles of Electic Bitters
has cured Mrs. Brewer of scrofula, '
which had caused her great suf- j
fering for years. Terrible sores i
would break out on her head and
face, and the best doctors could .
give no help ; but her cure is com- j
plete end her health is excellent."
This shows what thousands have J
proved,?that Electric Hitters is j
the bes blood purifier known. It's
the supreme remedy for eczema,
tetter, salt rheum, ulcers, boils j
and running sores. It stimulates j
liver, kidneys and bovrels, expels
poisons, helps digestion and builds
up the strength. Only 50c. Sold j
