The firm is a member ot the stock, cotton a nd produce exchanges and ot the Chicago stock exchange, aud has branch ollices in about 30 cities throughout the United States. Curtis and Win. N. Cromwell, assignees. Mr. Cromwell said late tnis afternoon that it was impossible to make any statement at this hour concerning the condition of the firm; that its business is very extended and covers several branch agencies. The to tal liabilities, he said, are about $13 000,000, nearly all of which was secured. He added th.it a statement would be submitted to the creditors at the earliest possible date. The firm is composed of Theo dore H. Price, VVm. G McCormick. ii G. M. Stewart-Wort ley and Walter W.
