In the conn ty of Orangeburg, in addition to the duties now devolved by law upon such boards, said board ol commissioners for said counties shall prepare and keep a record of the roads, with the number of miles of each highway and the number of bridges over ten feet in length on each of said roads, and shall also furnish a certified statement of the receipts and expenditures of all county officers, and shall transmit tlie Rame to the members of the general assembly not later than ten days after the opening of the session thereof. In the county of Dorchester the supervisor ahall receive two hun dred and fifty dollars and the commissioners two hundred dol lars; and in said county, Dorches ter, and in the county of Marlboro the commissioners shall, on or before the second Monday of each and every month, file with the clerk of the court of common pleas a full and itemized stateniant /\f oil uiv ui v/ oai i/iiu uin bursements and expenditures during the preceding month,which statement shall be open for public inspection. Sec. 2.
