watery grave Monday last. She
was on her way home from Ker ,
shaw. She drove into Flat Creek
which was so much swollen from
the rains that her buggy was
washed down the stream several
yards and lodged against a (ret*
that was lying in the creek. By

enabled to get out upon the fal
len tree and then out upon the
bank. The horse was drowned.
