Killed at a Party.
Cheraw, Nov. 2.?The negroes
around town are considerably excited
today over the murder of a young ne
gro man named Ed Sellers. There was
a party at a house near town and a
large number of negroes who are
working on the railroad attended.
. ; Several of the town darkies went there
and a general row was the result. Pistols
were drawn and 10 or 15 shots
' were tired. Ed Sellers was hit in the
stomach fcnd died in about an hour after.
No others were hurt. It has been
\ impossible to locate the person who
