there has been an improvement
of 3 points in Connecticut and
Ohio and the marked improvement

The reports on sugar cane are
somewhat less favorable than on
September 1, there being a decline
of 5 points in Louisiana and

about held its own.
The condition of rice has iinproved
0 points in Louisiana, 2
points in Florida and 13 points in
Texas. The crop has about held
its own in North Carolina, and
there is a decline of 3 points in
South Carolina, Georgia and Mississippi
and ot 13 points in Ala *
