On last Tuesday morning, Sept. ^ 5th, Miss Virginia Massey, the 21-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Massey of Dudley, S. * 3., left home to go over to her 1 y married sister's, about a mile and* half away to assist her in putLing up some krout. G. A. Porter, of Dixie, had a mule stolen last Friday night. The mule was found next . morning in a corn patch by Dock Douglass, colored, who lives in one of the Fitzpatrick houses in s Fast End.
