o'clock tins afternoon a committee
of the Southern Baptist Convention,
which has been in session
at Norfolk, called upon the
President and presented td him ^
an address adopted by the Convention.
The committee consisted
of the following named delegates:
Dr. W. E. Matcher,,Richmond;
The Rev. Dr. Henry McDonald,
Georgia; the Rev. Dr.

committee was accompanied by
several hundred delegates to the
Convention, who had come from
